To publish an app on Google Play, you must pass Closed Testing. The requirement of having at least 12 testers maintain your app for 14 days is a major hurdle for individual developers. Even asking family and friends, it's hard to gather 20 testers, and if anyone deletes the app, you have to start over.
LaunchPad solves this problem through a "mutual exchange" system where indie developers worldwide install each other's apps and participate as testers. When I install another developer's app for 14 days, they maintain my app for 14 days too. Through mutual cooperation, we can pass Google Play's strict requirements together.
Sign up easily with your Google account. Start immediately without any verification process.
Copy the test participation URL from Google Play Console and register your app. Integrate the SDK to automatically detect installations.
Browse other developers' apps and apply for exchange with ones you like. Once accepted, tester emails are exchanged between both parties.
Register the other developer as a tester in Google Play Console, and they register you too. Once both sides are registered, you can install the apps.
Install the partner's app and keep it for 14 days without deleting. The SDK automatically detects installation and updates the status.
After 14 days, the exchange is automatically completed. Your Launch Score increases, enabling more exchanges with other developers.
